Keith Lynn Lyon
Keith Lyon, age 42 was taken from us Tuesday, May 9, 2006.He was Assistant Chief Deputy at the Knox County Sheriff's office. Keith served his community with integrity, pride, dedication and honor for 18 years. He was known for his relentless and tireless work ethic. He is servied by his wife, Carla Marie Lyon; parents, L. Gale and Ruth Lyon; brothers, Bernie and wife Wendy, nephew Taylor; Anothony G. Lyon MD of Florida, Leland and wife Janet, nephews James and John; nieces, Janice, Lacy, Joy Lynn, Jayden; sisters in law Shelia Renfro of Athens, Alabama, Glenda Swindle of Kingston, Tennessee, Karen Cantrell of Stockbridge, Georgia, Donna Baker of Knoxville; and many friends and family members.
Captain Darrell Johnson says, "I'll always remember that smile. I think he smiled more than anybody I've ever seen."
A friend, a Christian man who his co-workers say would have done anything for anyone.
Johnson says, "I can honestly say there's not one person in our department if we lost them it would mean more to the department."
